Are You Up To The Challenge?

It's time to CREATE!

2008 is here and together we are going to get more scrapbooking done this year! Each month we’ll issue you a challenge here in the newsletter - a scrapbook page assignment. All you need to do is complete the layout according to the "assignment" and you will receive a coupon to use in the store. Each month when you stop in to show us your assignment, your name will also be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize that will be announced at the end of the year. Also at the end of the year, you will have at least 12 scrapbook pages completed (24 if you do 2-page layouts)! Sounds like fun to us!

January's Challenge: Create a page depicting one (or more) of your goals for 2008. Your layout should be an 8x8, 8.5x11 or 12x12 single or double page, and must include: a title, at last one photo, and journaling*. Your title can be whatever you choose, but must convey the idea of something you want/plan to do this year.

Your assignment must be completed and brought by the store to be viewed by one of our staff members by January 31st. Your first coupon will be good for $10 off a $30* purchase.

*Pages must follow the above requirements to earn the coupon and door prize entry. No late entries will be accepted. Only one entry per person. In this class you'll create a decadent 4x4 mini book filled with love! We'll use Cosmo Cricket's beautiful "Love Notes" collection along with ink, paint, ribbon and more to alter the bare book and tell your love story. Learn how to create an interactive scrapbook with pockets, doors, shaped pages and more...You won't believe what you can do with this book- it will be totally transformed! The theme of this class is love, but you can use this book for anything as you will be able to choose embellishments and text from your kit to fit your theme.
